This route is the public place to find OneBeat support and privacy instructions. The current mobile build does not include a Profile → Support action, and this static page does not submit a support or rights request. OneBeat must add a verified intake before it can handle those requests. Do not send passwords, tokens, ad callback URLs or identity documents through an unverified channel.
Spotify playback is not ready
- Open Spotify and confirm the signed-in account can play music on the device.
- Return to OneBeat; the app prepares the App Remote session at launch and foreground resume.
- If the session expired, use the in-app Spotify connect/update flow once, then return to OneBeat.
- Keep the Spotify app installed and do not start a second OneBeat session while a run is active.
OneBeat uses an existing session for normal Play and does not intend to authorize Spotify on every clip. Network, Premium, device and Spotify availability rules can still prevent playback.
A rewarded video is unavailable
- Complete the UMP privacy choice when the app asks, or reopen Profile → Ad privacy choices.
- Wait briefly and retry; no-fill, offline, consent-gated or early-closed ads do not consume the benefit.
- Use a current TestFlight build and a stable connection; ad inventory can be unavailable by design.
- A reward appears only after the ad provider reports an earned reward and OneBeat verifies it server-side.
Never grant a life, retry, hint, audio unlock or XP bonus from the button press alone. If the app shows a verification state, keep the run open and allow the server callback to finish.
A gem purchase is pending or missing
- Keep the same signed-in OneBeat account open; RevenueCat and the store can deliver the trusted event after the purchase sheet closes.
- Wait for the Gem balance to refresh before trying the same pack again. A delayed webhook is not a failed purchase.
- Check the store account, product name, store environment and visible order/transaction reference. TestFlight/sandbox and production purchases are separate.
- If the store charged you but the balance is still missing, use the verified OneBeat purchase-support intake when it is available and include only the relevant product and transaction reference.
Current packs are consumable. The server credits gems only after the RevenueCat virtual-currency webhook passes the event and virtual-transaction replay checks; pressing the purchase CTA or seeing a client callback does not grant currency. Do not send a RevenueCat webhook payload, App Store receipt, Google Play purchase token, Clerk token or payment details through an unverified channel.
Apple handles store refunds and consumable purchases are not restored through the normal restore-purchases flow. See Apple's IAP overview and Apple's restore guidance. For an Apple refund or purchase problem, use reportaproblem.apple.com; the store decides whether a refund is approved.
A run or search session looks stale
- Return to Home using the in-game Home action; avoid starting another mode over an active run.
- Use Continue Run when the same category session is shown.
- If the server says a round is no longer active, reload the run state instead of submitting the same guess again.
- Keep the app updated; a server-authoritative run may reject a stale client action by design.
What to include in a safe report
Playback
Device model, iOS version, Spotify app version and the visible OneBeat error.
Gameplay
Mode, round number and the visible error text. Do not include song tokens or private URLs.
Purchases
Storefront, product, approximate purchase time and the visible store transaction reference. Never send receipts or purchase tokens through an unverified channel.
Ads
Placement name, approximate time and whether the ad completed. Never send SSV query strings.
Account
Use the verified OneBeat intake when it is available. Never send passwords, Clerk tokens or Spotify tokens.
Privacy and deletion
For data-flow details, see the Privacy policy. The current app can disconnect Spotify and update ad choices, but it does not yet expose Support or Delete account actions; see Data deletion.
